The field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) holds a promise of a true revolution in medical sciences. In addition to the application to personalized medicine, AI and the associated fields of Big Data and knowledge mining are already making an impact on general public health through analysis of large amounts of patient records and other health-related data.

 

The Computational Bioscience Research Center (CBRC) has been active in this field of research for some time, as a part of our broader work in the field of AI. CBRC has already established collaboration on PI and Center levels with various in-Kingdom organizations such as King Abdulaziz University Hospital, King Saud University, National Guard Hospital, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, and others, where CBRC contributes its expertise and experience in AI in order to analyze clinical datasets. 

 

KAUST Research Conference: Artificial Intelligence in Medicine aims to bring together researchers from KAUST and other universities and institutions in order to share knowledge and expertise, which will be discussed in the following sessions:
