Thomas Miller

Associate Professor of Genome Stability, University of Copenhagen, Denmark

Biography

Thomas is a structural biochemist with an interest in the molecular mechanisms of eukaryotic DNA replication and repair. He obtained his PhD from the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology at the University of Cambridge (2012), before carrying out postdocs at the EMBL in Heidelberg (2012-2016) and the Francis Crick Institute in London (2016-2021). In 2021, Thomas was appointed as an Associate Professor at the DNRF Center for Chromosome Stability at the University of Copenhagen. Recently, he was awarded with a Novo Nordisk Foundation Hallas-Møller Emerging Investigator grant, for a project titled: ‘Defining the molecular mechanisms of replication-coupled DPC repair using EM-based visual biochemistry’.
