Scientific Computing Activities in KAUST: An Overview

________________________________________________________________________________________________________

An overview of scientific computing activities in KAUST will be given. I will focus on KSL (KAUST Supercomputing Core Lab) which provides majority of computing power for its research. Current status and future plan for its computing system will be discussed. Also described are applications and enabling roles played of KSL. I will finish by explaining plan for building a stronger computational ecosystem of the Kingdom.
